Glyphscapes is a generative art project of maps which are algorithmically generated from a single, shared set of primitive tiles. Every map possesses a unique layout of terrain, populated with alien entities and strange curiosities. Exploring the art of building atmosphere using minimalistic elements, Glyphscapes embodies restriction, intentionally imposing additional constraints on the creative process through a deliberate reduction of tools and techniques. This process results in the diverse landscapes of Glyphscapes, each revealing a slice of the Monster Friends' quest for discovery.
